昨天我收到了一個家伙的死亡威脅，他說要把我的頭打碎。
昨天我發了一個尋找想學習英語的學生的無害廣告。
我收到了其他英語教師的仇恨評論，讓我用Grindr或者說“抹黑同性戀”，不知道那是什麼意思。
首先，我根本不是同性戀。他們只是因為我的外貌、快樂的樣子和我的模特照片就這樣假設了。
但現在我能理解收到仇恨評論是什麼感覺了。我通常是個非常冷靜和鎮定的人，不會讓情緒影響自己，但當時我至少可以說是很惱火。
互聯網上有一些絕對瘋狂的人，我討厭他們。
我遇到了一個道德困境。我是Marcus Aurelius等智慧人物的忠實粉絲，我想這些哲學家和偉人會把問題拋開，不去理會。
但後來我在想，這真的是最好的辦法嗎？站起來為自己辯護不是更好嗎？
“做更好的人”這個說法準確嗎？
我不知道。昨天我想了很多。這裡的正確答案是什麼？

Yesterday I received death threats from this dude who wants to bash my skull in
Yesterday I posted a benign ad looking for students who want to learn English.
I received hate comments from other English teachers telling me to use Grindr or "smear the queer", whatever that means.
I am not even gay, first off. They just assumed so because of the way I look, how happy I am, and my modeling photos.
But now I can understand what hate comments feel like. I am on average a very calm and collected person and I don't let my emotions affect me, but at that moment I was annoyed to say the least.
There are some absolutely crazy people on the internet and I hate them.
I came across an ethical dilemma. I am a huge fan of wise men like Marcus Aurelius and these other figures and I thought how these philosophers and great men would just push the issue off and ignore it.
But then I was thinking, is this really the best way? Wouldn't standing up for yourself be better?
Is the term "be the better man" accurate?
I don't know. I thought about it a lot yesterday. What is the correct answer here?
