good session today, 120kg moved pretty well so I took a chance and tried 130kg - not the best rep by a long shot - the upper ended up taking over and it became a pull instead of a push and I had to GRIND for it... but it's the first time ever trying 130kg, I'm buzzing that it came up at all. 110kg 🔒 64kg bw - Why did I fail the first attempt? Over the past couple months I've really learnt to be in tune with my body and the tweaks I've made to my form have made a massive difference. But although I can go "ass to grass" on lighter lifts, now that I'm really pushing my max, I've found that there is an extremely fine line between hitting parallel depth and losing tension completely. If you watch the first clip closely, you can see it happen. Once that tension is gone trying to kick start it back in is almost impossible. The difference between the 2 is about an inch đŸ€Ł still not entirely perfect, but we're learning, correcting and getting that little bit better every time. Every failure is a lesson, so never be afraid or embarrassed about failing a lift in the gym. I can assure you, I do it ALL the time đŸ€·đŸ»â€â™€ïž #mumswholift #powerlifting
