·6d ago ONE POT OYAKODON! 🍚 I'm no longer going to pretend that I can cook amazing dishes. But I can cook easy balanced meals that still taste good. Here's a rice cooker oyakodon! So easy! 🫣 Recipe: 1 cup Japanese Rice 1/2 cup water Marinade 1 tbsp soy sauce 1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce 1 tbsp mirin 1/2 tbsp oil 1 chicken broth cube 1/2 tbsp sugar 400-500g Chicken Thigh (no skin) White onion Spring onion Shredded cabbage 2-3 Eggs 1. Soak Japanese Rice. 2. Slice your chicken (i chose thigh and removed the skin). 3. Chop your onion and spring onion. 4. Marinade your chicken (include white onion) for at least 30minutes. 5. Drain your rice as much as you can then add 1/2 cup water. 6. Add the chicken to the rice cooker and cook with regular rice settings. 7. With 15 mins left, whisk your eggs lightly and quickly pour into the cooker to let steam cook it. 8. When done, add spring onion and cabbage (optional). Enjoy! Serves up to 4-5.
