It is truly mind boggling that young black kids still experience racism in 2025. This has been an on going issue that Paxton has been dealing with and the school fails him every time. This has not only affected his education but also his mental health. I watched my little brother go from his fun, outgoing, animating self to this quiet, avoidant boy who refuses to let anyone in. He is targeted and bullied from the time he gets to school to even during the walk home. My mom has doorbell footage of one kid harassing him all the way home from school. I’m worried about my brother and how this will continue to affect his mental health if this continues. If you or someone you know is experiencing this as well Paxton wants you to know that you are not alone.
