Quick tips for making your home smell even better before guests arrive!

I have such an irrational fear that someone will come over and think my house smells bad 5 These are not tips to replace cleaning. but to enhance the smell of your already clean home, making it more calming and inviting!

1. l use a nice smelling disinfectant like Astonish and pour a cap into my sink with some warm water.. it is sanitising your sink AND giving off the most amazing smell!

2. Easy win- take out those bins and give them a quick wipe down. I only do a deep bin clean once a week. Use a little bit of essential oil on a cotton pad and place at the bottom to give it an extra good scent boost!

3. I either use my all time fav Purdy and Figg counter clean spray or if I don't have any left I create my own spray with essential oils. I wipe down all the door frames guests walk past and the radiators. It will leave a calming but NOT overpowering aroma in your home.
Finally, I use a couple drops (do not do too many or it will be way too strong!) of essential oil on a cotton pad and place into my cushion cover. :)

Of course if you have more time l'd give the floors a mop too! a
But these tips are meant to be quick
and easy. No need for harsh chemicals or toxic room plug ins or sprays!
