I spent an hour last night trying to get someone from the Midland office at the RRC to answer the phone. Their 24 hour line is staffed by answering service. Apparently Abilene on call at 10 pm, but not Midland. And Abilene can’t access Midland syatem. What happens if there’s a large pipeline explosion? Or a well blowing out by the interstate? Oh well? We logged as deep as we could before tagging hard in 6 wells last week and now we need to go in with downhole memory camera and coiled tubing to figure out what the obstruction is at 1500’. Thanks to those who have joined the fight to hold Chevron accountable for their wellbores.
