Stop Demonizing Carbs!
Carbohydrates are a macronutrient that our bodies and brains like.
Just because a food has more carbohydrates than protein or fat doesn’t make it “bad.” It simply means it’s higher in carbs—nothing more, nothing less.
✔️ Some carbs are more nutrient-dense than others.
✔️ Some taste better to you than others.
✔️ But all of them can have a place in your diet.
👉 Send this to your friend who says they don’t eat carbs but clearly eat fruits and veggies.
Surprised? Share this with everyone who needs to see this! And follow @fitsquadnz for fat loss advice that doesn't suck.

Dean lost 27kg of in my program at 58yo. It wasn't doing keto or intermittent fasting. It wasn't eating a carnivore diet or doing any other fad diet. Instead, he focused on his vegetarian meals prioritizing protein while eating on a calorie deficit. During the process, he didn't step in the gym. He started walking his dog everyday. Once he lost weight and got good at it, we started doing 3x home sessions every week. The before and after photos show the physical changes, but unfortunately, it can't show how much healthier and happier he currently is. If you never thought about investing in professional help to use a tailored approach that will surely get you results, this is your sign to DM me the word "COACH" to learn more about my program. #fatlosstips #fatloss #dadbod #weightlosshelp #fitmums #fitnesstransformation

·1-3Shiv lost 12.5 kg at 46yo. When she came to me, she said she was unhappy with her body and had lost hope because, all these things she saw on social media seemed too complicated. After our intro call I realized she was trying to focus on working out too much and trying restrictive diets I thn came up with a plan where she would need to focus on two things only: her daily steps and her meal plan. Shiv couldn't believe her plan included bread, rice, and pasta, not to mention some little treats added to ensure she could be consistent with her nutrition. Shiv didn't lose weight because of supplements or magic solutions. Shiv lost weight because she simply took action with an experienced coach who has over 23 years of experience and has helped over 7k people. If today is the day you are ready to change, DM the word COACH to learn more about my program. #weightlosstips #fatlosstips #foodfreedom #progress #dadbod #busymums

·2024-10-27Many people tell me "I eat healthy" but I don't see results 😔. And the answer lies in "portions". No matter how well you choose your foods, if you don't consume the right amount, you won't achieve a change in weight or size. It may seem complicated to know exactly the calories, etc. you should eat, but today I'll make it easier for you with the ideal guide on how your plate should look if you're aged 40 or older and want to improve how you look and feel:👇👇 🥩 Protein: essential for maintaining and developing muscle, opt for lean protein sources such as chicken, fish, legumes, or eggs to maintain satiety and promote muscle repair. Make sure they occupy at least 25% of your plate at each meal. 🍚 Carbohydrates for energy: it's important to choose healthy options and control portions, but never omit them as their role is fundamental for muscle development. Allocate the other 25% of your plate to them, prioritizing whole options like quinoa, potatoes, corn and rice. 🥗 Abundant vegetables: they are your best allies and should occupy 50% of your plate since they are high in fiber and vitamins but very low in calories and high in volume, which helps you feel satisfied much faster. By following this simple guide, you can ensure that your plate is balanced and you get the results you're looking for 🤩. Don't know how to eat and train? You've come to the right place, just send me a DM or drop a question in the comments. #fatloss #weightloss #fitnessover40 #dadbod #busymums

·3d ago Forget relying solely on the scale. The numbers you see there don't show the full picture. Fat loss isn't just about seeing a smaller number on the scale—it's about losing body fat. If you're doing this without losing weight, you're likely experiencing body recomposition—the holy grail of fitness! So, the next time you step on the scale, remember: your weight doesn't define your progress. Trust the process, how your clothes fit, the strength you gain with each workout, and don't forget to take measurements and progress photos to see your true transformation!
