This is actually a great position to be in! 👏🏼 You can freely negotiate with your second choice while communicating to your first choice that youre ~in demand~ but they’re still your #1 🫶🏼 Every situation is unique, so feel free to use this as inspiration ✨ 💡 remember: do NOT accept the first job offer! Just say “thanks ill get back to you” & stall with negotiation. You got this! 👏🏼#careeradvice #careertiktok #careertok #salary #joboffer #negotiate #negotiatesalary #howto #edutok #corporate #funny #careertips #jobinterview #interviewtips

·1d ago Their FYP not mine I know I know 👀 Apologies are hard but the more you apologize, the easier it gets. Understanding where you fell short & owning up to that requires incredible strength, maturity, and humility… and not everyone has that 😅 People make mistakes! And when you honestly own up to what you did, research shows that people are pretty darn understanding. 6 components of a perfect apology: Say you’re sorry Be specific Show you understand the hurt Full ownership, no excuses Show how it won’t happen again Reparations (offer to repair) There are some slight variations of this list — but they all encompass the same thing: saying the words “I’m sorry”, not making excuses (but providing explanation if you think it’ll ease the hurt/provide context), and offering to repair/asking for forgiveness. You got this! 👏 #apology #sorry #lifeadvice #communication

·2d ago why is “why should we hire you” literally so impossible to answer sometimes 😅😅😅 If you struggle like me, try following my nifty little template to knock this question right outta the park!! ⚾️💨 ✅ Hard Skills: talk about your technical background & capabilities. Any certifications? Softwares you know how to use? Policies and procedures you’re familiar with? List them here! ✅ Soft Skills: talk about your professionalism, character, people skills 💅🏻 pro tip: use keywords from the job description! They want someone who’s a team player? Collaborative? Has a sense of humor? Detail oriented? Make sure to callout those specifically! ✅ Unique Offering: this is the cherry on top! What is something extra YOU bring to the table that other candidates don’t? Are you billingual? Do you have a personal link to the industry? Did you work for a competitor in the past? Do you have a coveted degree/certification? Figure out what makes you unique! 🧠 Remember: first interviews/phone screenings are about checking boxes. So use keywords from the job description, ask great questions & make sure your body language communicates your professional enthusiasm! You got this! 👏
