Replying to @thesanchezz313 everybody seems to be an expert in how GP practices run- allow me to educate you! 👍🏻
GP partners run a business like any other business. They get 120 pounds per patient, per year, whoch has to pay all the staff, consumables, IT and rent for the full year!
Salaried GPs earn much less because they are not running a business, they are turning uo for work, seeing patients and are not involved in the business side.
GP partners are seeing patients and then having to run the business side of the practice.
Each practice has about 2000 patients for 1 GP and needs admin and nursing cover as well.
Its easy for guys like yourself to over simplify how a GP surgery runs, but i expect thats because yoi have got absolutely no idea what actually goes on, yet you comment like a smart arse!
Hope taht clears it up for you! 🙌🏻

·1h ago Be careful who you take advice from when it comes to cancer decisions around your treatment. Wellness influencers might sound convincing, but many don’t even have a basic grasp of biology. Just because something sounds scientific doesn’t mean it is. Misinformation about cancer treatment is everywhere, and following bad advice can be dangerous. Always trust qualified medical professionals, not influencers pushing unproven “cures.” #CancerAwareness #MedicalFacts #WellnessMyths #HealthMisinformation #TrustScience

·1d ago Huge breakthrough in bacterial vaginosis treatment. A new study has shown that treating male partners can significantly reduce BV recurrence. This could be life-changing for those who struggle with persistent BV. BV is the most common vaginal infection, often recurring despite treatment, but research now shows that treating both partners reduces recurrence! Does partner treatment now become standard care? #SexualHealth #WomensHealth #SexEducation #BVawareness #ReproductiveHealth #stem

·2d ago Here’s the truth about ‘detoxing.’ Your body already filters out everyday ‘toxins’—your liver and kidneys are excellent at the job. No fancy juice or supplement can magically remove ‘mystery toxins,’ because in most cases, they simply don’t exist. Let’s keep it scientific: your body is already your best detox system. ·4d ago Blood in your pee is NEVER normal. Even if it happens once, get it checked. It could be something minor like an infection or a kidney stone, but it can also be a sign of something more serious like Glumerolonephritis or a bladder/kidney cancer. Early detection saves lives—don’t ignore it! #BloodInUrine #HealthWarning #KidneyHealth #BladderCancer #SeeADoctor

·1w ago Have you ever felt stuck with your current doctor, like you’re not really getting the answers or results you need? Don’t be afraid to get a second opinion—or even switching doctors if necessary. It’s a move that many patients hesitate to make, but a fresh set of eyes can be a game‐changer. Remember, you’re your own best advocate, and seeking different perspectives could lead you to the care and solutions you deserve. #MedicalAdvice #SecondOpinion #PatientAdvocacy #FreshPerspectives #SelfCare
