Four months ago, I posted a video joking about how our 1-year-old cat Joe loved to groom his favorite faux fur blanket from @lolablankets . A week later, we very unexpectedly lost Joe during emergency surgery…Our hearts were absolutely shattered, but we decided to adopt again, and we were able to rescue Joe’s (real life!) baby sister. The other day, I’m sure you can imagine my reaction when I found baby Gladys grooming Joe’s blanket JUST like her big brother used to 🥹💕🐱 Life really is just one full sweet circle, isn’t it…? Thanks for teaching Gladys from afar, Joe. We miss you everyday, but see so much of you in your little sister 💔

⭐️ Learn how to style the @denvermodern Vail Stool two different ways ⭐️ John and I recently added these gorgeous counter stools to our peninsula eating area, and they’ve really upped the ante in our quaint 1960s kitchen design! The white boucle fabric we chose is easy to maintain (even with two rambunctious kittens), and we love the mix of materials on the frame—white oak dowel supports, leather straps, and black steel base. To give you a REALLY well-rounded perspective on this versatile stool, we also styled them in my parents’ more traditional kitchen! How cool that this contemporary style seating works well in both homes…Shop our #denvermodern Vail Stools in my Stories today and via my bio link 🧡 #mydenvermodern (gifted/ad)

Okay, listen. I’ve been a fan of Drew Scott (AKA @Lone Fox) for YEARS! And, of course, the same goes for @Joon Loloi…So when the two teamed up together this month on a new home collection, I jumped at the chance for a sneak peek 🧡👌🏼 This Holmby Rug in Ivory / Bark is the perfect sophisticated neutral complement to our antique finds and mid-century modern aesthetic, and I love how the Benedict and Stewart pillows add pops of brightness to our vintage leather couch in the snug off our kitchen. You’re also getting to peep our yet-to-be unveiled wallpaper in this video!!! Hope you love how it’s coming together…More to come soon, but in the meantime, shop our new rug and pillows in my Stories today. Congrats, Drew and Loloi! (gifted/ad) #LoneFoxJL

I’m finally sharing what has become my very favorite before/after project of our entire time in this house: our laundry closet makeover! I’m generally the only person who sees much of this tiny closed-off space in our house (well, me and Chessie since her crate is stashed in this closet), but I felt like it was still worth a little refresh. We painted the boring beige walls “Halcyon Green,” and added “Pink Art Deco Clay” @Fancy Walls wallpaper along the backs of the shelves. Then, I finished things off with coordinated crates and baskets to finallyyyyyyy bring some order to the organization in this under-utilized closet. Now, this colorful, pattern-packed closet is my new favorite spot in the house, and I do laundry practically every other day just to peek in on the fun new design 🙌🏼💕 Shop the Fancy Walls wallpaper I used in my Stories today, and let me know in the comments if your own laundry room could use a colorful update 😉🧺 (gifted/ad)

Remember when I used to share actual DIYs on dreamgreendiy.com?! 😆🧡 Feels like it has been a while, but I’m vowing to bring those back in 2025, starting with this cutie wallpapered side table using coordinated peel-and-stick patterns from @Fancy Walls to use wallpaper samples to decorate the drawer fronts, and then some leftover wallpaper scraps from my office makeover, so this project was veryyyyy easy on the wallet. I love how the poppy blue/green colors and patterns make this plain white side table stand out…Can you believe the before/after transformation?! 🙌🏼⭐️ Make sure you watch carefully to see how I used charcoal to create a template for cutting out the intricate shape of the drawer fronts. What kind of DIY would you like to see me tackle next? (gifted/ad)

Have you made your 2025 vision board yet? I do this every year between Christmas and New Years when I’m usually feeling my most motivated and inspired, but this time I mixed things up a bit…I started a vision board BOOK! In the past, I’ve always just used a scrap piece of cardboard to build my vision board on, but I wanted something a little more intentional and “official” moving forward. So I picked up a simple green leather scrapbook, and plan to do one spread each new year. Now, whenever I need a dose of inspiration, I can take my vision board book off the shelf and flip through the pages. I’m only one year in, so it’s mostly blank pages, but I’m excited to fill it up over the next decade. What about you? Do you vision board? Consider going the book route!

Let’s add some festive wintery flair to a plain evergreen wreath!🌲🌲🌲 I picked up a couple of $5 stem bunches from @Trader Joe's, cut them into smaller pieces, and then attached them (somewhat!) evenly across the wreath form using floral wire. I finished the look with a flowy satin ribbon bow, also attached with floral wire ☺️ This took me maybeeeee 15 minutes to make, and I think the simple embellishments add so much to the simple wreath form (which I sourced locally from Francisco Tree Farm btw!) ❄️🎄 Happy holidays, my friends!!
