Blueberry Mctoad in the hole with my favorite guy 😊 Honestly, it’s incredible, I went in for seconds. Will make this again, It tastes like a cross between a mcgriddle because it’s slightly sweet and sausagey AND syrupy (with the addition of blueberries)& toad in the hole, a traditional English dish! Prep:5 minutes Total 40 minutes Ingredients: 1/4c Vegetable or canola oil 1lb package of sausage with about, 5-6 links (I’m using the Minnesota Twins Bratwurst) but use whatever you’ve got! 1c fresh or frozen (thawed) Blueberries 1 1/2c All-purpose flour 3 tbsp light Brown sugar 1 tsp ground cinnamon A pinch of salt and pepper to taste ( I use white ground pepper for this) 3 eggs 1c Milk (any fat percentage) 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted Optional, Syrup or hot honey for drizzling Set oven to 450 degrees In a large oven safe dish or skillet over medium heat, add you oil, followed by the sausage. while this cooks, add all of the dry ingredients to a large mixing bowl and combine, add the eggs and milk, mix with a whisk until smooth and the lumps disappear then incorprate the butter and set aside until the sausages are fully cooked, about 5 minutes on each side,10 minutes or so total, we want them to have some nice brown marks! If using a baking dish: butter the dish or carefully add the oil and sausages to the bottom of the dish Add half of the blueberries to the sausages, then pour over the batter, top the batter with the remaining blueberries, then bake for about 25-30 minutes until its puffed up and golden brown, kind of like a dutch pancake( if youre familiar!) it rises and gets puffy from the eggs! Do this same process in a skillet. But its important not to open your oven door to check on this while baking. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, cut a slice, top with syrup or hot honey, serve and enjoy! #delishaas #cooking #mcgriddle #toadinthehole #breakfast #twins #minnesota

Sharing my Chicken Tortilla Soup from my Cookbook! With a tortilla bowl! Prep:10 minutes total 35mins Serves: 6-8 Ingredients: 3 tbsp Olive oil or avocado oil (39g) 3-4 boneless chicken breasts, (about 1.5 to 2lbs) salt and peppered (907g) 2 tsp cumin (5g) 2 tsp paprika (5g) 2 tsp oregano (5g) ½ stick of unsalted butter (50g) 1 onion onion 150g) 2 stalks of Celery (120g) 2 carrots Carrot (120g) 5-6 cloves garlic (50-60g) Salt and pepper 1 can black beans (425g), drained and rinsed 1 can corn (432g) drained or frozen! ½ can Chipotle in adobo (50-100g) (100g if you like Spiccccyyyy, like me) 32 oz chicken broth (907g) For optional garnish, avocado, jalapeno, cojita cheese, tortilla strips, sour cream cilantro, green onion, guac! You get it.. now get creative! Tips: For the tortilla bowl, grab the smallest pot you own, take a tortilla (as many bowls as you plan to serve), and spray it lightly with some cooking spray, (whatever you’ve got, olive oil, avocado, etc!) press the tortilla into the pot, it’s okay if it sticks over the edge. Bake in a 350-degree oven for 5-10 minutes until the edges start to brown. To a large pot over medium to high heat, add the oil to the pan followed by the chicken, season the chicken on both sides cook the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until the interal temperature of 165. Remove from the pot and onto a clean plate. Add the butter to begin melting followed by the onion, celery, carrot and garlic, salt and pepper to taste. When the mire piox is translucent ( about 8-10 minutes) add the beans, corn, and chipotle. Mix until everything is combined, and slowly incorporate the broth. Bring to a simmer for 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Mix in some cheese and crema to make it extra creamy and delicious! For assembly, ladle yourself a bowl, garnish with avo, jalapeno, cheese, tortilal strips a little dallop of cream cheese and cilantro or onion. Serve and enjoy! #soup #chickentortillasoup #delishaas #easyrecipe #cookwithme #smellycat

My 🎁 to the internet, celebrating my Birthday and Valentines Day 💝, Enjoy! My “HIT”Brownies 🍫 Prep:10 minutes Total:1hr Cooking Spray 1c butter, (2 sticks,) I like to use unsalted 4c chocolate chips (2c semi-sweet 2c milk chocolate) 1c granulated sugar 1/2c brown sugar Pinch of Salt 1/2tbsp vanilla extract 4 eggs 1c all-purpose flour 1/2c cocoa powder or hazelnut spread 1 1/2 tsp baking powder Optional toppings, mini m&m’s, chopped walnuts, sprinkles or anything you can think of! Peppermint candy, a box of chocolates! Set your oven to 350 degrees To a medium pot over low to medium heat, add the butter and chcolate to start melting mix occasionally until incorporated, it will be silky chocolate! About 10 minutes, You could also melt this in a heat-safe bowl in the microwave on 15-30 second intervals mixing in between, until smooth. To a large bowl add the sugars, salt, and vanilla, set aside until the chocolate is ready, add the melted chocolate, and mix. To a small bowl, crack your eggs then whisk like youre preparing a scramble, so a big bowl of yellow with maybe a few bubbles. Add the eggs to the chocolate mixture and mix, until incorporated and glossy, add the flour, cocoa powder, (or hazelnut spread) baking powder and mix until all the flour is absorbed. This is your chance to fold in whatever you want, m&m’s, nuts, etc! By now your oven should be up to temp, Spray a 9x13 (or an 8x8) baking dish with cooking spray, then add the batter, spread evenly, and top with desired nuts and M&M’s and bake for about 45-50 minutes (this can vary depending on your baking dish) so use the tooth pick trick! Sometimes Ill pull it out 5 minutes before its finished baking - if I know its going to continue to cook in the dish. You can eat this warm, but I promise the flavor settles in when it cools, it will be less bitter from the cocoa, its all about patience! The right one will come along! And if they are cooled they are easier to cut and less messy, just saying. If youre making this Valentines edition, bake the brownies, let cool for about 10 minutes, then add the boxed chocolates on top. Lightly pressing the individual chocolates into the baked surface. They melt and get so tasty! Or if you want them to hold their form pop this in the fridge. Serve with a scoop of your fav ice cream and Enjoy! Store in a ziplock or airtight container until eaten, they’ll be gone quick! #delishaas #brownies #birthday #valentinesday

Smoothie Bowls Prep:5 minutes Total:15 minutes Serves 1-2 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks( or about 2-3 frozen peeled bananas ) 2 ½-3 cups frozen berries (blue, black, strawberry mix) (or whatever mix you want) 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional) (bc berry mixes can vary or be quite tart) 1 cup yogurt (I recommend Non-Fat or 2% Greek yogurt) ⅓ cup milk of choice (oat, coconut, 2%, etc) you could even use juice for this! Recommended toppings: fresh fruits with a lot of textures for ultimate chewy moments! I used fresh blackberry, blueberry, strawberry, kiwi, banana! but try things like cherries, mango, whatever you’ve got! Get creative! For dry goods, try coconut flakes, cocoa nibs, peanut butter, Nutella, granola, or some crumbled graham crackers! Garnish with some Honey or my best friend Anna tried hot honey on her bowl, and loved it! TIPS! Always use FROZEN fruit - otherwise, you’re drinkin’ that smoothie, which is fine too! the bowl you use to serve can also make a difference in how long your bowl will survive! for this, I would recommend a wooden bowl instead of porcelain! A high-powered blender is going to make a huge difference you could also make this in a Ninja cremini or food processor! Carefully Scaping the frozen stuff on the sides to the bottom to ensure it’s incorporated is going to help give the smoothie a creamy texture! LIQUIDS, sometimes you will need to add more liquid, if you are going to add more liquid, Slowly add just a little splash BUT usually, the less liquid the better when making smoothie bowls! But you get the hang of it for those of you who don’t like to sure measuring cups! Add all of the frozen fruit to the blender along with the yogurt and liquid, blend or pure on your middle setting, its probably not going to come together magically, so you might have to grab a wooden spoon and jiggle it around, smush some uglies, crush some stuff, and then pop the top back on, repeat the process probably once more before its perfect, or if you’re using a vitamix use the stick thing. You should be able to screw off the craft and see its well incorporated. Scoop the mixture into a bowl, top with desired toppings in a cute pattern and throw it in your mouth,Enjoy! #smoothiebowl #easyrecipe #delishaas

#ad Whether you are hosting your own dinner party or want to make an impressive dish, here’s a recipe you’ll love!  This rich buttery steak with smooth silky Blue Cheese Alfredo is so savory. @Treasure Cave Cheese ‘s new Mild Blue Cheese pairs so well with steak and not to mention pasta! It’s crave worthy! The star of the show is obviously the Mild Blue Cheese, now available at retailers near you! Enjoy!   Prep Time:  10 minutes Cook Time: 30-45 minutes Servings: 2-4   Butter Steaks * Steaks of choice (I used Sirloin or a NY strips) * 3 tablespoons unsalted butter,  * 3-4 cloves crushed garlic * 2 sprigs fresh rosemary and thyme * Salt and pepper Blue Cheese Alfredo  * 1 pound Spaghetti, Fettuccine, or Bucatini pasta  * 4 tablespoons, unsalted butter  * 1 handful or pint of Bella mushrooms, sliced (optional)  *  3-4 cloves of Garlic, minced   * 1 ½ cup heavy cream  * 1/2 cup finely shredded parmesan  * ¼ cup pasta water * 1/4 cup Treasure Cave Mild Crumbled Blue Cheese  * Garnish with fresh parsley, bacon and more Mild Blue Cheese Crumbles.    Instructions:   1. If you are using bacon, begin by cooking your bacon to package instructions. Once finished, drain the grease on a paper towel lined plate, chop and reserve for garnish. This recipe also works great with prosciutto!    Butter Steak   1. Start by seasoning your steak with salt and pepper on both sides and set aside for 30 minutes to allow the steak to become room temperature. 2. To a piping hot, well-oiled large skillet, add your butter and let it melt. Add your steak and sear for 3-4 minutes until a nice crust has formed. Flip over to start the next side and add herbs. Cook for 3-4 more minutes. 3. Continue to cover the steak with butter using a spoon.  4. Once cooked to the desired doneness, remove from the pan onto a clean plate. Let the steak rest for about 5 -7 minutes (because it’s going to continue to cook out of the pan) and slice if desired. Reserve the rest of the butter for the Alfredo.    Blue Cheese Alfredo 1. To the pan, add remaining butter and mushrooms (optional). 2. Add garlic to the pan and sauté for about 3 minutes. Then begin to add the cream and stir until the butter is no longer visible. 3.Add the parmesan and Treasure Cave Mild Crumbled Blue Cheese. Mix until creamy and add salt and pepper to preference. 4. While the Alfredo is finishing up, cook your pasta to package instructions. When the pasta is cooked, reserve pasta water to incorporate with the alfredo sauce. 5. Once the Alfredo sauce has thickened, toss with your drained pasta into the sauce.    Assembly   To assemble, load up a plate with pasta, your cooked steak, and any other sides. Garnish with bacon(optional), fresh parsley and Treasure Cave Mild Crumbled Blue Cheese. Enjoy!   TIPS: Everyone likes their steak cooked a certain way. Here’s some cook times! Rare: Cook for 2–3 minutes per side Medium-rare: Cook for 3–4 minutes per side Medium: Cook for 4–5 minutes per side Well-done: Cook for 4–5 minutes per side, reduce the heat and cook for about another 2–3 minutes or longer if desired.
