Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.⁣ ⁣ Combine the cream cheese, parmesan cheese, onion powder, garlic power, and black pepper in a medium mixing bowl. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.⁣ ⁣ Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.⁣ ⁣ In a large bowl, mix together butter and granulated sugar until thick and creamy. Use medium-high speed on an electric mixer. Stop the mixer. Scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl.⁣ ⁣ Add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix until light and creamy, about 30 seconds. Stop the mixer. Scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl and then mix for another 20 seconds.⁣ ⁣ Add the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough comes together. At first it will look crumbly. You want to bake 9 cookies per pan to prevent them from sticking together.⁣ ⁣ Bake until the edges are a light golden brown, about 12 minutes.⁣ ⁣ Let the cookies cool on the pan for about 5 minutes. Line a large (18×13-inch) baking sheet with parchment paper or greased foil.⁣ ⁣ In a medium heavy bottom saucepan, combine the butter and brown sugar. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. When it reaches a boil, cook for two minutes. Use a timer for this step. You don’t want the syrup to burn.⁣ ⁣ Carefully remove the pan from the heat. Stir the oyster crackers and chopped almonds together with the syrup.
