Just a girl who had to try the new sandwich shop in town. Thank You Kindly Cookshop by Bicyclette Cookshop creates classics with a retro flair showcasing high-quality ingredients, gourmet touches, and bold flavors. I was thoroughly impressed! What we had: • Dilly Chop with cured meats, pickled green tomato, briny things. (My favorite — I deeply appreciate a good Italian sandwich) • Hand Jive with chimichurri turkey, tangy mustard. (As an Argentine, I was obviously biased toward the chimichurri) • Fancy Soft Serve made with vanilla soft serve, olive oil, fennel pollen, and salt Follow for more updates on restaurant & food trends. #naplesflorida #naplesfl #naplesrestaurant

Did you know Georgia locally crafts olive oil 🫒? @Fresh Press Farms makes cold-pressed cooking oils and ensures quality and freshness by managing every step from cultivation to distribution on their Georgia farm. Why cold pressing? It preserves natural flavors and nutrients while being energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. They implement sustainable practices, avoid chemical fertilizers, and package their oils in recyclable aluminum bottles. Make this quick and luxurious salad with grape tomatoes, olives, burrata, and Fresh Press Farms Pure Gold Olive Oil.

My first time in Texas, and I visited Henderson & Kane for authentic Texas barbecue! I knew them because I featured their family story for Latin Restaurant Weeks and couldn't wait to try it. Nestled in Houston's Historic Old Sixth Ward, the owners smoke premium meat themselves, sourced exclusively from 44 farms. This was some of the best meat I've ever had, but every single item was incredible: the brisket, ribs, sausage, green beans, and mac and cheese. Their market also impacts their immediate neighborhood and community by proudly stocking over 500 products from 100+ local businesses, bringing you the best from Texas farmers, ranchers, and artisans.

I was honored to attend the Heart & Soul Culinary Scholarship Dinner in Houston, Texas, the kickoff to the Global Culinary Conference by Feed The Soul Foundation! It was impressive to see the incredible turnout for its inaugural year. The event featured a multi-course dinner with nationally recognized chefs like Mark Holley, Chris Williams, Dayanny De La Cruz, Shannen Tune, Emmanuel Chavez, and Patricia “Patti” Delgado. Their talent and dedication made this a memorable night in support of the mission — to empower minority students by removing financial barriers and helping them achieve their culinary dreams! #culinaryschool #culinarystudent
