Another one of my fabric scraps sewing projects. I made this and showed it in a video on Valentine’s Day, but I was very sick there so I wanted to show a better video of it. 🪡💕 ##sewingtiktok##sewing

outfit details: Grace-Pia from @Miss Candyfloss official I'm just realizing as I'm typing out this caption in the description on the website it says the dress is 1940s inspired but it looks like what my grandma worn in the 1950s. I think there's a lot of overlap in 1940s and 1950s day dresses but I just wanna make sure I corrected myself. It is 1940s inspired. #vintagefashion #vintagefashions #gifted

I posted about finding and getting the stains out of this wedding dress a few weeks ago I have upcycled it into a mini dress, which I know is very controversial on the Internet, but I’m going to get so much more use out of the dress this way I was never gonna wear it as a wedding dress. The fabric that I removed from the dress is being used in other projects and not thrown away. #s#sewingtiktoks#sewing

It is way too short on me now because when I originally cut the fabric, I wasn’t thinking about wearing heels- so that was dumb😅 This dress was made from all upcycled materials. The crushed velvet is thrifted and the lace is all from my grandma’s scrap fabric. Which means the lace is from the 1950s and 60s. I did most of this by hand as I was still learning how to use a sewing machine and it felt overwhelming, which means this project took me weeks to complete. #sew#sewingtiktokw#sewingforyoupage

one of my goals for 2025 is to use up more of my fabric scraps. This project was a combination of multiple other sewing projects that I’ve been working on. I think it turned out pretty cute for it being made with leftovers from other projects. #se#sewingtiktoke#sewing
