The harsh reality of being a SEN parent....thinking you've made progress, and then you're quickly reminded that the fight isn't over. Freddie was doing so well at his new SEN provision, but the past few weeks we've had phone calls to say "this has happened....there was a incident......he's hurt the staff member......he's bit me......" I don't understand why, he was doing so well! Nothing has changed, is he just tired and ready for a break? How do you help change a child's bad attitude? Here’s the thing, if they have a bad attitude, it means to me that you're not a leader, it means they don't respect you. It's a tell you've created that bad attitude, so you can uncreate it. Your leadership will uncreate that, so yeah, that's on you. Take responsibility for their bad attitude.
