This Vietnamese soup has two vegetables I’ve never seen or used before. Anyone know how taro stem and rice patty herb tastes? Canh Chua Cá (translated literally to soup sour fish) is a sweet, sour, and spicy soup that is packed with vegetables. The fish is marinated here with just Vietnamese mushroom seasoning/bouillon, garlic, fish sauce, and pepper before it’s fried and boiled.
